We provide opportunities for student-athletes to receive college athletic scholarships and to gain attention from professional clubs in the UK, Europe and the U.S.
The Select Generation program offers selected players the chance to experience an academy-style soccer program in the birthplace of the game – where passion for soccer is embedded in the culture.
Similar to top NCAA programs that recruit internationally, our academy provides US athletes with a unique life experience and an advanced soccer education that is comparable with a top US college program.  Select Generation FC will develop players in a professional environment, while allowing them to complete a one year academic course or a three year UK university degree.
When they return to the US they will be even more attractive to U.S. colleges and professional clubs, thanks to their enhanced soccer resume and development in England.

THE PLAYER EXPERIENCE

The 2025/2026 inaugural season will compete in both a men’s league and an Under-23 league, operating in a professional academy-style environment with clear pathways into the first team. Players will train daily under UEFA-licensed coaches, with a strong focus on technical, tactical, and physical development, while being challenged through the demands of men’s football and academy-level opposition that prioritizes tactical understanding and technical quality.
The squad will operate across two teams competing in different leagues, allowing players to gain consistent minutes at both men’s and U23 level, following a structured development model aligned with professional academy standards.
Our matches are expected to attract scouts from various professional clubs. If a professional football club offers to sign one of our players, Select Generation will promptly contact the player’s family to facilitate the best decision. Our goal is to provide such opportunities and to support our players in their ambition to become semi-pro or professional.
Select Generation is built around three clear pathway outcomes: professional and semi-professional opportunities globally and NCAA scholarship pathways in the United States.
Designed for players from North America and Canada, the program offers a clear, honest development environment that prepares players for the next step, wherever their pathway leads.

PLAYERS WILL RECEIVE ASSISTANCE TO DEVELOP ALONG THREE PATHWAYS

Bachelor's degree at Bournemouth University or US College (remote course), whilst playing for Select Generation FC.
